The story of sustainability communications has taken a turn. A few years ago, brands were overclaiming. Now many have gone quiet, and that silence is creating a vacuum for confusion and misinformation.

This hands-on lab brings together brands, NGOs, and agency creatives to tackle a shared challenge: How do we align creative ambition with business reality and public accountability in today’s campaigns?

This session is designed as a live, facilitated lab where participants are actively involved to collaborate on real-world climate communication challenges and work through what comes next, together. Leading organisations are embedded within the lab to support, challenge, and strengthen the work as it develops. Together, these organisations act as in-room provocateurs, ensuring ideas are tested.

Questions this session will answer:

  • Why have companies shifted from overclaiming to silence - and how has that vacuum fueled confusion, misinformation, and creative hesitation?
  • How can cross‑sector collaboration unlock new ideas and practical ways to approach sensitive or high‑scrutiny creative challenges?
  • What does it take to create work that holds up - creatively, commercially, and credibly - under today’s heightened expectations and scrutiny?
