With more than 25 years in the industry, Rowena Bhagchandani has been a part of four major networks: Young & Rubicam, Bates, Batey and DDB. Known not only as a CEO, but as a change leader and entrepreneur, she co-founded BLKJ in 2016 to “un-advertise” — creating entrepreneurial solutions for an increasingly noisy and competitive market. Built on the power of diverse talent, BLKJ’s disruptive vision led to a regional partnership with Vivendi-owned Havas Group in 2021, establishing BLKJ Havas as Havas’ APAC creative flagship in Singapore. Beyond the agency, Rowena serves on the founding board of the IAA and on advisory committees for various tertiary institutions. Across every role, her mission remains the same: challenge convention, drive systemic change, and empower teams to achieve the seemingly impossible.
