Biography
Amy's mission? To make sure VML connects brands with audiences in ways that matter (and get results). As Global Chief Connections Officer, she leads a team of social and influencer specialists, media masterminds, search ninjas, PR pros, and experiential experts. They're all about partnering with creative, strategy, and tech teams to bring innovative ideas to life around the world.
Amy’s romance with digital marketing began in the late ’90s and she's still passionate about helping brands harness the latest channels and technology to make the work work and make the work sing. She’s enjoyed almost 20 years with VML partnering with both business-to-business and business-to-consumer companies of all stripes, including retail, technology, consumer packaged goods and tourism. She also spent several years on the client side, leading digital marketing at H&R Block and serving as vice president of marketing for Andrews McMeel Publishing.
Amy loves collaborating with smart, curious and respectful people who are serious about their craft, but don't take themselves too seriously. You'll often find her on planes and in hotels, but she always comes home to Kansas City, her family, and her emotional outburst dog.
