Biography

Diego is an award-winning leader in creative production, currently the Chief Production Officer at Deutsch. He drives innovation across broadcast, film, music, content, print, and experiential projects for iconic brands like Taco Bell, Walmart, Nintendo, and more. Diego also manages Steelhead, Deutsch’s 50,000 sq ft production company, leading global campaigns for brands such as Yonex, Interscope Records, and Drizly through cutting-edge, tech-driven production models.

An Emmy Award-winning producer with numerous accolades, including Grand Clios and a Cannes Lions Grand Prix, Diego is recognized for his leadership and influence in the industry. He frequently serves as jury chair and judge for international production craft and digital categories and sits on the executive peer group of the Television Academy. Additionally, he contributes to California’s Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz).

Beyond his creative achievements, Diego is a dedicated advocate for DEI and sustainability, working to create more equitable opportunities in production. Previously, he was the Head of Film Production at R/GA, overseeing production across six U.S. offices, with additional experience producing at David&Goliath and Conill/Saatchi & Saatchi.

Outside of work, Diego is a huge film buff and his passions include travel, swimming, board games and spending time with his dog, Ducky.
