Farid Bawa is a designer from India, currently based in Amsterdam. He is the Head of Design at 180 Amsterdam, where he works at the intersection of strategy, problem-solving and visual storytelling.


He is also the founder of All India Permit, an organisation working alongside the Indian truck and sign artist community to document, create, and showcase projects that push the truck art form. Farid has collaborated with platforms and brands such as Google Arts & Culture, Apple, Vans, Levi’s®, and Bonne Suits to share this fading art form with wider audiences. His curated exhibitions explore South Asian culture across borders, with works showcased in galleries globally.

He has been recognized with honors including the D&AD Pencil and has contributed as a jury member for D&AD, Dutch Creativity Awards and more. He truly values collaboration, curiosity, and the exchange of ideas across cultures and disciplines.
