Biography

Harman is the Executive Director, Beauty & Wellbeing, Hindustan Unilever Limited, heads the Beauty & Wellbeing business of Unilever in India.

She is a business leader with expertise in strategic thinking, consumer insights, brand crafting and P&L management and has successfully launched and grown major brands in the beauty and personal care sector across South Asia, North America and Europe. She is passionate about transforming businesses, leading diverse teams and building purpose-driven brands.

Prior to her current role, as Skin Care & Color Cosmetics Head, she led HUL’s premiumisation agenda and revamped brands like Lakmé, Ponds and spearheaded entry into new formats and segments to modernize the business. Previously, as VP Hair Care, she launched Dove hair and TRESemmé in India, created a market for conditioners and led iconic campaigns such as Dove ‘Stop the Beauty Test’ and Clinic Plus ‘Meri Beti Strong’. During her tenure, Haircare strengthened its market leadership over the decade.

Under Harman’s leadership, HUL has won multiple Cannes Lions, Effie’s, and Emvies awards.

She has been featured in BW Businessworld’s Most Influential Women 2025, Economic Times Women Ahead list (2023), Impact 50 Most Influential Women list ( Top 3 in 2023) and Economic Times 40 under 40 list in India.

She is on the Board of Unilever Nepal Limited, Lakme Lever Private Limited, Zywie Ventures Private Limited.

Harman is an Alumnus of Shri Ram College of Commerce and FMS and joined HUL in 2006.
