Biography

Michael is the CCO at FCB NY. In 2024, the agency was awarded Craft Agency of the Year and regional network of the year 6 years straight at Cannes Lions. Additionally, FCB NY was named Global Agency of the Year by The One Show, The Art Directors Club and Clios, as well as being named the world’s most awarded agency in The Drum's 2025 World Creative Rankings. And in 2023 and ‘24, the agency won its first two Emmys. It was under Michael’s creative leadership that FCB NY created effective, Grand Prix-awarded work for Michelob ULTRA and Spotify, and garnered new business wins for such diverse clients as Budweiser, Pringles, Listerine, Hyundai, The Gates Foundation, Cheez-It, Johnson’s Baby, QuickBooks, New Era and the New York Mets. This more than doubled the agency size since he began in 2020. A key to this success is Michael’s core belief that creating a fun and wildly creative environment is where everyone from all disciplines can make the best and most effective work of their careers. Prior to his joining FCB, his decade-long stint as ECD at BBDO NY resulted in successful campaigns for global clients such as GE, Snickers, Visa and FedEx. A filmmaker too, Michael wrote and directed a feature film in 2010 and continues to write screenplays for both film and TV. Most of all, Michael is quite proud of his teenage twins Juliet and William, who are now starting to discover just how incredibly embarrassing and uncool he really is.
