Nwakaego Boyo is an Actor and Filmmaker who began her career in the acclaimed soap opera *Checkmate* as Ann Haatrope, an iconic character in Nigerian television history.

She is the Founder / Managing Director of Temple Productions, Temple Media, and Tempio M A I foundation. She has produced classic films, and has worked in the Nigerian industry for over thirty years.

Her work includes multi award winning films The Ghost and the house of Truth, A Hotel called memory as well as Keeping Faith, To Live again and Violated.

Nwakaego is on the boards of Lagos Preparatory and Secondary School, Mirabel Centre, Miss Nigeria Association. She is a member of the advisory board for the Eastern Nigeria Film Festival and Chair, The Lagos Fringe Festival and for advisory board Oando Foundation and served as President IWS.

She is a recent 2025 grand jury member of the Gerety awards.

She is committed to supporting the economic empowerment of girls and women, ensuring their education through charity and promoting Nigerian culture and story telling through film.
