If you’re looking to spend less at Cannes Lions this year, we’ve put together our top tips to help you make the most of what’s on offer during Festival week.

Check out what’s included with your Festival badge

You’ll get a selection of complimentary perks with your Festival badge, including:

  • Daily Happy Hours: Enjoy free drinks in the sun on the Terrace from 5:30pm to 7:00pm daily.
  • Closing Party: Join us at the Closing Party on Carlton Beach with complimentary drinks (non-alcohol and alcohol) and small bites all night on Friday 21 June from 9pm.
  • Potable water: Refill your water bottle at Hope Hydration Water Stations throughout the week, signposted in the Cannes Lions 2024 app. If you forget to bring a refillable water bottle, you can grab complimentary water cartons at Registration.
  • Internet access: get hassle-free connectivity with free Wi-Fi at the Festival.

See what our Festival Partners have on offer

Our Festival Partners will be dotted around the grounds, often providing complimentary food and drinks. Here are some that will be joining us this year:

  • McDonald’s McFlurry airstream: Indulge in snacks and treats, courtesy of the McDonald's airstream truck.
  • Fetch Coffee Cart: Get your caffeine fix with complimentary iced coffee from the Trade Desk.
  • Pinterest Manifestival Beach: Relax by the beach with complimentary food and drinks, provided by Pinterest.
  • Propeller’s Empower Café: New for 2024, we have a dedicated safe space open to all, located at the L'Avenue Restaurant. Here you’ll find a quiet spot where you can take a break from the Festival excitement.

Cost-effective accommodation options

The city of Cannes has accommodation options for a range of budgets, and we’ve negotiated discounted hotel rates with partners in and around Cannes. Remember, you need to have a Cannes Lions Delegate Pass to take advantage of the limited accommodation discounts.

Our Accommodation Partner bNetwork has accommodation options that start at just €100 per night. Rooms for Cannes Lions sell out fast due to high demand, so please book as soon as you can. If you can't find the right option online, please here.

Our affordable transport recommendations to Cannes

Travel costs can add up, so we’ve put together a few affordable options:

  • Bus: This is the most affordable way to travel to the Festival venue. Tickets cost between €1.50 and €10 depending on the time of day. You can find schedules and pricing here.
  • Train: Another option is to take the regional train from Nice to Cannes, where tickets cost between €5 and €15 depending on the time of day. You can find schedules and pricing here.
  • Taxi: We’ve locked in a fixed rate with the city for trips from the airport to the Festival venue with local taxi providers for €85 each way. If you’re travelling by taxi, try to share the ride with colleagues to split costs.
  • Night bus: Need to get around in the evening? The Palm Night Bus and the Cannes Lions Night Bus are great options for Cannes Lions delegates.

Affordable food and drink around the Festival

While the French Riviera is known for its luxury eateries, there are also a lot of budget-friendly food options to keep you going throughout the week. Here are some of our favourites:

  • Citronelle: Enjoy fresh and delicious homemade salads and sandwiches, starting at €10.
  • Marché Provençal Forville: Explore a bustling market offering fresh produce, local delicacies and street food stalls. Prices vary based on vendor and selection.

There are plenty of nearby supermarkets, so grabbing some picnic food from there and taking it to the beach is a great option. You’ll also find various fast food chains just across the road from the Palais (the Festival venue) for a quick bite.

Whether you’re heading to Cannes Lions for the first time or just want to plan ahead, our helpful tips will give you everything you need to know.
