Our affordable transport recommendations to Cannes
Travel costs can add up, so we’ve put together a few affordable options:
- Bus: This is the most affordable way to travel to the Festival venue. Tickets cost between €1.50 and €10 depending on the time of day. You can find schedules and pricing here.
- Train: Another option is to take the regional train from Nice to Cannes, where tickets cost between €5 and €15 depending on the time of day. You can find schedules and pricing here.
- Taxi: We’ve locked in a fixed rate with the city for trips from the airport to the Festival venue with local taxi providers for €85 each way. If you’re travelling by taxi, try to share the ride with colleagues to split costs.
- Night bus: Need to get around in the evening? The Palm Night Bus and the Cannes Lions Night Bus are great options for Cannes Lions delegates.

Affordable food and drink around the Festival
While the French Riviera is known for its luxury eateries, there are also a lot of budget-friendly food options to keep you going throughout the week.
There are plenty of nearby supermarkets, so grabbing some picnic food from there and taking it to the beach is a great option. You’ll also find various fast food chains just across the road from the Palais (the Festival venue) for a quick bite. Stay tuned for our Restaurant recommendations, coming soon.
Whether you’re heading to Cannes Lions for the first time or just want to plan ahead, our helpful tips will give you everything you need to know.
