Biography

Alexander Nowak was born and raised in Germany but carved his name in the heart of New York’s creative scene, where he spent most of his career at Droga5. There, he helped shape standout campaigns for industry giants like Google, Under Armour, Hennessy, and Lululemon, earning a reputation for innovative and bold creative work.

Alexander’s journey began with a degree in architecture, but it was his award-winning thesis in 2008 that ignited his passion for visual storytelling. By 2009, he’d joined Droga5, quickly becoming a cornerstone of the agency’s creative powerhouse. For over a decade, he pushed the boundaries of craft, innovation, and visual expression, constantly challenging the norm and raising the bar for what great advertising could be. In 2022, he took his next big step, relocating to Berlin to continue his creative leadership evolution.

With over 60 Cannes Lions awards under his belt, including back-to-back Grand Prix wins, Alexander has become a global leader in creative excellence. He’s shared his insights as a guest speaker at esteemed institutions like Sotheby’s New York, Princeton University, and Google, inspiring the next generation of creative minds.

As Chief Creative Officer & Partner, Alexander started Mother Berlin in 2022 – and the agency has already become a cultural hot spot, attracting top-tier talent from around the world.
