Biography

Dan Clays is the CEO of Omnicom Media Group for the EMEA region. He has 25 years’ experience working in the media industry, over half of that time in Omnicom and spanning three decades of Cannes Lions. In his role overseeing Omnicom’s media brands OMD, PHD and Hearts & Science, Dan is a huge champion of the creative power of media and the role data and technology plays to build transformational experiences for brands. In his role at Omnicom, Dan works with some of the worlds’ most creative, pioneering brands including McDonalds’, PepsiCo and JLR, and develops partnership programmes with global, regional and legal media companies, including being on the EMEA Meta Council. Over the last 12 months Dan has worked closely with Flywheel, Omnicom’s recently acquired digital commerce division to unlock more creative commerce solutions for clients. Dan is a strong supporter of new and emerging talent in the media industry. He has been a part of the BRiM Advisory team from launch and is Chair of Media Smart, the ad industry’s non-for-profit education programme to improve the digital literacy of young people.
