Biography

Daniel Arra is the Media Director at Mercado Libre, Latin America’s leading e-commerce platform. In his role, Daniel leads comprehensive media strategies across multiple platforms, enhancing the brand’s presence throughout the region. With over a decade of experience in online marketing and brand development, he has been instrumental in driving innovative campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences—creating new media solutions that elevate creativity and brand impact.

Daniel has been responsible for securing major regional sponsorships, including club-level football partnerships with CONMEBOL (Libertadores and Sudamericana) and national team rights for the CONMEBOL Copa América. He also leads local agreements across entertainment and industry-related media properties, such as Big Brother, The Voice, MasterChef, Black Friday, Hot Sale, and more. His leadership and creative approach were recognized with the 2024 Cannes Lions Grand Prix in Media for "Handshake Hunt."

Before joining Mercado Libre, Daniel held leadership roles in online marketing at Despegar.com, where he was responsible for developing new paid media channels to drive customer acquisition. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and an MBA, combining technical expertise with strategic vision to deliver impactful, data-driven media solutions.
