Biography

Dave’s roots began as an independent producer in the Pacific Northwest in the 90's, onward to lead production for three top-tier global creative agencies, at Facebook’s Global Business Marketing group, and now as WPP and Hogarth’s Global Head of Production.

Rolfe's career took off at Crispin Porter + Bogusky in ‘99, playing a key role in the agency's pioneering innovation, earning it "Agency of the Decade" in 2010. He later joined BBDO NY in 2012, focusing on its agility, cross-medium work and technology integration. Rolfe also briefly led production at DDB Chicago, where he helped launch before-its-time Bud.tv.

In 2004, Rolfe conceived Integrated Production, to move beyond broadcast-centric practices, combining generalist and specialist roles, technology integration, in-house prototyping and new forms of collaboration, becoming industry standard.

Rolfe has won numerous industry awards and multiple Cannes Grand Prix, Titanium & Gold Lions for brands such as AT&T, Facebook, Verizon, Burger King, GE, Mars, Bacardi, Lowe’s, Fed Ex, Microsoft, Anheuser-Bush, Domino's, Pepsi, VW, Ikea, Coke, MINI, as well as Monica Lewinsky’s cyber-bullying efforts and Sandy Hook Promise.

Dave has joined and presided over numerous juries, twice serving at Cannes Lions, including the inaugural Entertainment jury in 2016. He’s been a speaker at Cannes on several occasions, as well as other global media, production and marketing forums.

At WPP / Hogarth, Dave is responsible for production strategies to elevate creative excellence for WPP clients, with focus on nurturing talent, innovative partnerships and platformed solutions.

Dave and his wife Tiffany live in NYC, with their two children, Myla and Hammy.
