Biography

Françoise Nottrelet is a visionary executive and business leader, passionate about transforming media, entertainment, and tech—including the creator economy.

At StarNews Mobile, a video platform enabling celebrities, creators, and brands to monetize their fan base, she forged a groundbreaking partnership with MTN, launching Africa Foot, a digital pop-up TV network for the Africa Cup of Nations, driving massive audience engagement.

At House of Podcasts, she crafts impactful storytelling campaigns for global organizations like the United Nations.

Previously, as VP of Business and Content at Afrostream—the Netflix for African and African-American content—she expanded the platform into 40 countries, secured key licensing deals with Disney, Warner Bros, TF1, and Lionsgate, integrated Paramount’s linear channels, and launched a podcast vertical.

Prior, as GM of My Zen TV, she led its transformation by launching the first wellness-focused OTT streaming platform.

Françoise began her career at Lagardère Active (now part of M6 Group, Canal+, and LVMH), where she spent over a decade as SVP of Global Media Distribution. She played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s global footprint, growing its TV channels tenfold. Under her leadership, Gulli successfully launched in Russia, Africa, and the Middle East, while Mezzo found a new audience in Asia.
A film enthusiast and golf addict, she embraces both with passion and dedication.
