Biography
Leah Churchill-Brown set up her own production company the Doll Collective in 1999. It developed local talent and serviced the US and European markets, collaborating with award-winning directors.
Under her leadership, the Doll Collective gained recognition for its innovative projects and unique storytelling. Leah's ability to nurture talent and craft compelling narratives led to several successful ventures and solidified her reputation in the industry.
In 2005, she produced her first feature film, ‘Suburban Mayhem'. The film was invited to screen at 2006 Cannes in Un Certain Regard. It was nominated for 10 AFI awards, winning 3 including Best Actress.
In 2006, Churchill-Brown followed up its' success, producing another award-winning feature, 'Beautiful Kate', also to critical acclaim.
Leah has been an Executive Producer at EXIT Films since October 2016, working with award-winning directors like Garth Davis, Glendyn Ivin, Stefan Hunt, Mark Molloy, Bonnie Moir, and Noah Marshall. She upholds EXIT's tradition of mentoring emerging talent.
