Biography

Lisa Maxwell is a marketing leader who turns big ideas into real impact. As Vice President of Marketing at Mastercard, she helps businesses grow and makes it easier for people to access financial services.

Throughout her career, Lisa has helped brands improve people’s health and well-being. At GlaxoSmithKline, she expanded products like Nicorette, NicoDerm CQ (smoking cessation), and Abreva (cold sore treatment), turning them from underperforming to successful. Lisa combines strategy and creativity to solve challenges and improve lives, no matter the industry.

Lisa believes that investing in small, under-resourced communities drives growth and innovation. She serves on the board of the GrassROOTS Community Foundation, a nonprofit focused on the health, education, and empowerment of girls in Ghana, Jamaica, South Africa, Kenya, and the U.S. Just as she has helped brands improve people’s well-being, she now helps GrassROOTS ensure that young girls have the resources they need to thrive.

Lisa’s leadership has been recognized through the B2B Innovator Award and as a top juror for the ANA B2B Awards. She holds an MBA from Duke University and is a proud mom to her daughter, Amina. Lisa is also deeply proud of her Jamaican heritage, which shapes her values and drive.
