Born in Mumbai and raised in the Middle East, Manasvi Gosalia, Manu to pretty much everyone found his way into the industry through post-production, spending years as an editor before stepping into production. In 2007, at 23, he took a bit of a leap and started his own production house, DéjàVu, in Dubai. What began as a small operation has grown over the years into a regional presence, with offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Beirut, and Mumbai.

Through it all, he’s stayed close to the work. Whether it’s commercials, branded content, or anything in between, Manu has always been drawn to the process figuring out how to bring an idea to life, and doing it with care. He’s worked with most of the top agencies in the region and across a wide mix of brands, both local and global. What matters most to him is the craft, the collaboration, and making something that feels right.

Some of that work has been recognised along the way, picking up awards at shows like Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show, London International Awards, Effies MENA, Dubai Lynx, and a few others. He’s also had the chance to serve on juries at The One Show,Spikes and Effies.
