Biography
Marcelo Bruzzesi, known as Bruzza, is one of the most awarded creatives in Latin America, with over 250 international accolades, including 41 Cannes Lions. In 2024, he served as a Cannes Lions Jury Member, further cementing his global influence in the creative industry.
He has worked in Brazil, Portugal, and the UK at agencies such as Africa DDB, Grey, Leo Burnett, DM9DDB, and Ogilvy. His work has been celebrated at major festivals like D&AD, One Show, Clio, and Effie Awards. In 2011, he represented Brazil at the Cannes Young Lions and brought home the country’s first Gold Lion in the Direct category.
Two of his projects were featured in Game Changers, the book commemorating Cannes Lions’ 60th anniversary, recognizing ideas that shaped the industry.
At Grey Brazil, he helped the agency become Grey’s most awarded worldwide.
At Africa DDB, his campaigns for Brahma, Budweiser, and Heinz made the agency one of the most creative globally, with Foamy Haircut winning 7 Cannes Lions.
Since 2022, he has held creative leadership roles at BETC HAVAS and is currently Executive Creative Director at Havas LATAM, leading the group’s creative efforts across Latin America.
