Biography
RAOUL PANES is a Business Management graduate whose fascination with marketing and literature in college found its sweet spot in advertising. After a foray in account management, he shifted to a creative career with stints at JWT, Publicis JimenezBasic and BBDO Guerrero Ortega. He thinks he made the right decision as he has since then been inducted into the 4A’s Philippines Creative Guild Hall of Fame. He is the concurrent Chief Creative Officer of Leo Manila and Publicis Groupe Philippines. His works have been awarded for creativity and effectiveness in shows including Cannes Lions, D&AD, Spikes, Effies, AME, New York Festivals, LIA, Adfest, One Show, Festival of Media and Clio. He and his team won Grand Prix awards at Spikes, Mad Stars, and ONE Asia as well as metals in the inaugural Gaming category of Cannes Lions for McDonald’s ‘Unbranded Menu’ campaign. In 2023, he was named Southeast Asia Creative Leader of the Year by Campaign Asia. When he’s not pounding away at the keyboard, he’s pounding the pavement on long runs.
