Biography
Sadé Muhammad is the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Chief Impact Officer at TIME. Appointed in January 2023, she is the first to hold the CMO position since TIME became an independent company in 2018.
Before joining TIME, Muhammad spent over seven years at Forbes, where she founded the Representation & Inclusion Practice, an award-winning B2B advertising initiative focused on promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion as key components of corporate growth strategies.
Throughout her career, Muhammad has been recognized for her innovative approach to marketing and commitment to social impact, earning accolades such as inclusion in Chief Marketer's Marketer of the Year, CMO's Alliance CMO to Watch, CCYNC's Creative Class for Media & Entertainment, The ColorComm 28, and more.
Muhammad holds a Bachelor of Science in Magazine Journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
