Sara Samsøe is an Executive Producer and Head of Production at new—land. Her career in film began at 13 years old with an internship as a Best Boy, and she quickly fell in love with the industry, trying her hand at everything from casting, to camera-in-hand, to production.

Sara has a very creative mind and soul, and that's why she often works very closely with the directors.

She graduated from the European Film College in 2010 and, after a string of freelance production roles, spent four years at VICE Media, going on to join new—land in 2018.

Alongside her judging work for Cannes, she is also a member of D&AD and New York Festivals’ Film Craft Awards Grand Jury.
