Biography
Tony O’Neill is an award-winning creative entrepreneur and EVP, Executive Creative Director at Golin.
Before joining Golin, Tony spent over 15 years on the advertising side, most recently at Goodby Silverstein & Partners, where he solidified his creative prowess. His work has earned top honors across the industry’s biggest stages—including the Clios, Andy’s, PRWeek Awards, One Show, Webbys, and Cannes Lions—as well as personal accolades like Adweek’s Creative 100, Ad Age’s 40 Under 40, and Adcolor’s Creative Honoree. He led award-winning campaigns such as Not a Gun and Driving While Black.
A leader of leaders and a mentor to rising diverse talent, Tony is known for creating fun, culturally resonant, and earned-first work for brands like McDonald’s, BMW, Mountain Dew, Pepsi, Jack Daniel’s, Coors Light, Miller Lite, Capri Sun, the Golden State Warriors, Toyota, Michelob Ultra, and the Courageous Global Foundation.
Tony believes deeply in the power of collaboration and community. Mentorship is his way of giving forward, helping shape the next generation of creatives.
Tony is a husband, a girl dad to two daughters, and a self-proclaimed serial brander—always finding ways to bring ideas to life and brand just about anything. He values easy collaboration, relentless creativity, and hard work between what he calls ‘Good Humans.’
