Biography
Warangrat Rattanabumrung is a creative force redefining the intersection of advertising, entertainment, and culture. With over a decade of experience spanning both global and independent agencies, she has been shaping work that challenges the framework of traditional advertising models.
As Creative Director at SOUR Bangkok—the first independent agency in Thailand to penetrate the women’s market and empower female creative leaders—Warangrat has played a key role in the agency’s achievements, including Campaign’s Southeast Asia Boutique Agency of the Year for 7 consecutive years (2018–2024), Agency of the Year at the Asia Pacific Advertising Festival (ADFEST) 2021, and ranking among Thailand’s Top 3 Best Performing Agencies by The WORK.
Beyond advertising, her work reflects entertainment-driven creativity with a deep understanding of audience engagement, seamlessly blending advertising with entertainment, storytelling, and digital culture. One of her major successes includes leading as creator and promoter behind ‘Girl From Nowhere’, the Netflix Original Series phenomenon that topped trending in 13 countries with over 25 languages. The series is set to premiere the new season in 2026.
She has also expanded into new territories in entertainment commerce, idol marketing, and the metaverse, creating "Katii," Thailand’s most renowned female virtual human, which won the Thailand Influencer Awards 2022 and was featured on the covers of Vogue Thailand, L’Officiel Thailand, and Harper’s Bazaar.
Moreover, her campaigns have received prestigious awards, including Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show, LIA, and more. She also represented Thailand in the Young Cannes Lions Competition 2021 and not only won The One Club Next Creative Leaders in 2022 but also served as a jury member in 2023 and at Ciclope Awards in 2024.
