Cannes Lions award-winning ideas should be celebrated, and we don’t think it’s an appropriate time for that right now.

We’re grateful to all of your teams who have already spent a great deal of time on this year’s awards and the event. Their efforts won’t go wasted.

Work from the 2020 festival will be judged at the 2021 festival. The Cannes Lions Awards will be held in Cannes between June 21-25, 2021. The work eligible for each year’s festival will be judged separately. Separate Lions will be awarded accordingly.

We look forward to celebrating and honouring the work – and bringing the community together again when the world will hopefully be a more stable and optimistic place.

Digital Craft Lions

The Digital Craft Lions celebrate technological artistry.

Entries will need to demonstrate exceptional form and function in a digital context. That is, work with flawless design, masterful execution and outstanding user experience created for all digital environments.

Criteria considered during judging will predominantly be the execution and experience. There is no overall limit to how many times the same piece of work can be entered into Digital Craft.
