Biography

Tarn Willers is a feature film Production Sound Mixer from Sheffield, England, who in 2024 won the Academy Award (Oscar), BAFTA and European Film Award for Best Sound for his work on Jonathan Glazer's film "The Zone of Interest". Tarn's other accolades include his work for A Real Pain (2024) and Fury (2014), which have been recognized at The Sundance Film Festival, The Screen Actors Guild Award and People’s Choice Award.

Throughout his career, he’s worked alongside directors Jonathan Glazer, David Ayers, Jesse Eisenberg and Paul W. S. Anderson.

With a love for radio and music, sound has been prominent in Tarn's life since a young age. He’s an expert in capturing audio and creating soundscapes, which immerse viewers into the world they’re watching.

Tarn currently lives in Warsaw, Poland and continues his work on British, American and European films whilst also writing, recording and performing with his band Motorman.
