Biography
With over 15 years of experience, Aakriti is a hybrid marketing and communications strategist whose business cards have been as diverse as the many countries she has called home. Her journey began with a focus on establishing digital capabilities and defining social strategies for renowned brands, back when a ‘tweet’ was just a sound birds made. Today she serves as the Head of Strategy & Insights at Leo Burnett - leading a team of eclectically talented strategists who love solving human problems in order to solve business problems.
She has led global and regional strategies for brands such as Unilever, Samsung, Nestle, Mastercard, Volkswagen, Pepsi, and Subway - developing a spectrum of data and insights-driven communication strategies, re-positioning exercises, new product launches, and expansion into new markets.
Along the way she worked on some amazing campaigns, launched many successful products, won some global awards including Cannes Lions, WARC, Jay Chiats, AME, Effies, Loeries, Dubai Lynx, and The One Show, and even launched a e-commerce enterprise.
She has also been recognized as ‘Women to Watch in Middle East’, '30 Under 30' - Campaign Magazine Middle East, and B&W Report's MENA Top 10 Planners.
