Biography

Craig Elimeliah is the Global Chief Creative Officer at Code and Theory, an agency built on an equal partnership between engineers and creatives. He oversees Experience Design, Design, Creative Studio, and Creative Labs, Campaigns and Content and helps lead the agency’s most ambitious pitches and client engagements.

Over the past two years, Craig has been helping to build The Machine, Stagwell’s agentic marketing operating system, part of a leadership team that has been developing its strategic framework, narrative architecture, and creative positioning. Clients include Microsoft, Amazon, NFL, Lenovo, Adobe, Qualcomm, JPMorgan Chase, Novo Nordisk, JBL, and TIME, where his teams have driven measurable, category defining impact.

A prolific writer and speaker, Craig publishes thought leadership in AdWeek, Fast Company, The Drum, and LBBOnline. His Brand Legibility framework, the argument that brands must be structured for AI intermediaries, not just human audiences, has become a defining idea in the conversation about creativity and AI. He holds multiple patents, serves on the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, and has served as Jury President at the Webby Awards and other prestigious award shows.

Craig grew up in Brooklyn with a lifelong instinct for building things at the intersection of culture, craft, and technology. He lives in Nyack, NY with his wife, poet and interdisciplinary artist Leah Kogen-Elimeliah.
