Biography
David Halter is Chief Practice Officer at Dentsu Creative Australia, leading an integrated creative practice across strategy, creative, design, earned and experience.
He won his first Cannes Lion in 2018 for Cochlear’s Hearing Test in Disguise, followed by multiple Silver and Bronze Lions across Pharma, Outdoor and Media.
Before Dentsu Creative, he was Chief Strategy Officer at CHE Proximity (part of BBDO), helping to scale the agency from 10 to 100+ people and leading it to multiple Agency of the Year titles across Effies, Spikes, Mumbrella, B&T and AdNews.
He has worked with brands including American Express, Woolworths, Adobe, The ICONIC, eBay, IKEA, LEGO, Virgin Australia, Expedia and Samsung.
David is a graduate of The Marketing Academy, a board member of Curing Homesickness, and a father of three boys, which remains his toughest brief.
