Biography
Defri Dwipaputra is the Chief Creative & Experience Officer from Indonesia, with more than 19 years of experience building ideas rooted in human behavior, culture, and everyday tensions. His approach to creativity is grounded in a simple belief: the most meaningful work comes from understanding how people truly live, feel, and move through the world.
Across his career, he has worked with a wide range of local and international brands including Honda, IKEA, Guinness, Johnnie Walker, Durex, Shell, BCA, Frisian Flag, and Spotify, helping shape campaigns that balance business needs with cultural relevance and human impact. His work has been recognized across hundreds of awards at local and international festivals, yet he remains most passionate about ideas that create genuine value in people’s lives.
Beyond his agency role, Defri is deeply committed to Indonesia’s creative community. As a speaker, jury member, and mentor, he supports emerging young talent and champions brave, purposeful creativity.
