Biography

Esi Eggleston Bracey is a transformative executive and growth architect with a proven track record of unlocking growth and creativity in dynamic, competitive marketplaces. Most recently serving as Unilever’s Global Chief Growth and Marketing Officer, she pioneered the company’s shift from a traditional ‘one to many’ broadcast model to an AI-powered ‘many to many’ model for deeper, more culturally relevant and effective brand conversations and conversion at scale. She led this transformation across 400 brands, including Dove, in 190 countries. This helped drive Unilever to the #1 Advertiser globally in the 2026 WARC Creative 100, the industry’s definitive benchmark for marketing effectiveness, and earn the highest number of Cannes Lions in 2025. Previously, she was President of Unilever USA, CEO of Unilever Personal Care North America, and President of Coty’s Consumer Beauty division, after 25 years in marketing and general management at P&G.

A market-shaping innovator, Esi created the multi-billion-dollar Febreze brand, changed the face of beauty with CoverGirl and Queen Latifah, and added over half a billion dollars in turnover to Unilever’s North America business. She is the executive founder of the CROWN Act movement, which has made race-based hair discrimination illegal in 30 states, protecting the right to wear natural hairstyles in schools, workplaces, and beyond. Esi is both an Advertising Hall of Fame and Marketing Hall of Fame inductee.
