Publicis Groupe

SINGAPORE AND SOUTHEAST ASIA

Biography

Ian leads Publicis Groupe Singapore's media and digital agencies and capabilities, while accelerating the adoption of AI, data, and connected media capabilities across Southeast Asia — one of the world's most dynamic and diverse marketing landscapes.

In his dual role, he oversees integrated media and digital solutions for some of the region's most prominent clients. This includes stewardship of communications for the Singapore Government and the Singapore Tourism Board, as well as DBS Bank, the largest bank in Southeast Asia. His international client portfolio spans marquee global brands including Samsung, Kenvue, Disney, Marriott, Visa, and more while leading the success of Regional Client Hubs.

As Chief Transformation Officer for SEA, Ian is at the forefront of how AI, data, and connected media are reshaping the agency model and delivering measurable outcomes for clients across markets at varying stages of digital maturity.

Beyond his executive role, Ian is a committed industry builder with a clear focus on people development. Dozens of leaders under his leadership and guidance have won recognition from well regarded local and regional award shows. In recent years, he founded and chaired the inaugural Singapore Media Marketing Awards (SMMA) under the Association of Advertising and Marketing Singapore (AAMS), establishing one of Singapore's premier platforms for recognising excellence in media and marketing.

Outside of work, Ian is a former underwater demolitions diver with the Singapore Navy — a foundation built on precision, composure under pressure, and mission clarity that continues to define his leadership today. He stays sharp on the pickleball court and in the weights room, and feeds his curiosity through a life well-travelled — from mezcal bars in Oaxaca and ancient medinas in Fes, to the karst landscapes of Shangri-La and tempranillo filled terriors of Rioja. He is equally at home at a Michelin-starred table as he is at a hawker centre back home.
