As Managing Director of MetropolitanRepublic Uganda, Josephine Muvumba leads a team known for ideas that feel close to home yet travel effortlessly across borders. She has shaped campaigns for brands including Stanbic Bank, TotalEnergies, MTN and Diageo, earning a reputation for work that resonates with clarity and cultural depth.

Her journey is marked by a series of meaningful firsts. She was Uganda’s first female Creative Director and founder at Ignition, helped bring home the country’s first Loerie Award, and today serves as the only female Managing Director of a top-tier full-service agency in Uganda. Along the way, she has opened doors and created space for others to step forward.
