Biography

Laurent began his advertising career in 2010 at Buzzman France as a digital producer, where he produced globally recognised interactive work, including the "Hunter vs. Bear" campaigns for Tipp-Ex and "The Last Square" for Milka, alongside projects for MTV Mobile, Microsoft, Lynx (Axe), Nokia, Burger King, and Hermès.

In 2014, Laurent moved to Leo Burnett Sydney to lead the digital production team. During this time, he delivered several award-winning initiatives, including Samsung "brainBAND," Samsung ‘Pocket Patrol,’ and Bundaberg Rum ‘Cheers to a Legend.’ Promoted to Creative Technology Director in 2018, he contributed to the Samsung S9 launch at Vivid Sydney and Samsung S10 ‘Powershare Stations.’ He also created the ‘Cluck and Play’ controller for Red Rooster. A recognised XR creator, Laurent regularly collaborates with Meta and Snapchat on democratising the adoption of AR and Mixed Reality platforms.

Currently, Laurent is the Innovation and Technology Director at Special Australia. Since 2021, he has worked across the agency’s offices in Sydney, Melbourne, APAC, and the USA. He is responsible for delivering innovative campaigns for a portfolio of international brands, including Uber, Uber Eats, Pepsi, Virgin Australia. His work continually pushes the boundaries of how technology and creativity intersect.
