Biography
Phil Camarota has built his career by making brands stand out and sell out in the complex world of modern retail.
For over two decades, Phil has used commerce as a canvas to connect brands to people and people to products. Iconic companies such as AT&T, PepsiCo, SC Johnson, Hershey, LEGO and more have benefited from his artistic eye and analytical mind.
His approach centers on seamlessly translating retail signals into inspired creativity, producing innovative work that drives meaningful results. And that blend of commercial and creative effectiveness has also led to industry recognition, from the Effie Awards to the Cannes Lions and beyond.
But Phil’s main motivation remains using creativity to overcome commerce challenges. From physical stores to the digital shelf, in-aisle to AI, Phil believes there is no shopper barrier creativity can’t crack.
That passion has fueled him to become Chief Creative Officer at Flywheel, where he and his teams can expand their imagination and their impact across ‘Total Commerce’ experiences.
