Biography

Shu Hung is the Global Chief Creative Officer of AKQA, where she leads creative vision across the Americas, working with brands including Starbucks, Delta, Capital One, and Levi's. With over 25 years of experience spanning brand, marketing, and creative leadership, she has shaped some of the world's most culturally resonant brands — including Nike, UNIQLO, and Everlane — building work that connects business with the way people actually live.

She is the founder of Table of Contents, a concept retail platform that became a touchstone for avant-garde design in the Pacific Northwest, and the author of By Hand: The Use of Craft in Contemporary Art. An Adweek Creative 100 honoree, Shu serves on Spotify's Creative Council and advises Forward Consumer Partners.

She has spoken at Stanford University, Ford Motor Company's D-Ford, and the Garage Museum of Contemporary Arts, Moscow, and is a committed advocate for representation both in front of the camera and behind it.
