Biography

Based in Paris, Virginie brings together strategic, operational, and functional expertise. She strongly believes in the power and impact of brands, as well as their key role in driving business performance and growth. Virginie has over 20 years of experience working in a variety of communication and advertising agencies. She began her career at TBWA and concluded her time in agencies at BETC. Throughout her career, she has developed strategic recommendations and action plans for major corporations such as McDonald’s, Danone, Novartis, and Michelin.

She joined AXA Group in 2021 as Global Brand Director, where she leads the development and execution of AXA’s global brand strategy across the markets in which the company operates. In 2025, AXA became the first French brand to be named Creative Brand of the Year at the Cannes Lions, thanks to two distinct campaigns: ‘Three Words’ addressing domestic violence, and ‘Group Therapy’ addressing mind health issues.

Virginie believes creation is a superpower—one that moves the world, businesses, and people forward, both individually and collectively. Guided by the belief that ‘Creativity is intelligence having fun’ (Albert Einstein), she crafts distinctive brand positioning, platforms, and architectures—along with impactful strategies and communications.
