Andrea is a versatile art director with expertise in 3D, illustration, and design. She has been recognized at some of the most important advertising festivals worldwide, including Cannes Lions, Clio Sports, The One Show, New York Festivals, MAD STARS, El Sol, and Young Lions Costa Rica, among others. She has earned more than 100 local and international awards, including a Top 9 In-House ranking at Cannes Lions 2025, as well as Agency of the Year at Volcán Festival 2021, Independent Agency of the Year at Volcán Festival 2023, Country Agency at FIAP 2023, Best Central American Agency at WINA 2023, and Best Global Agency at WINA 2024. Thanks to her work, she was selected by the Government of Costa Rica to design the country’s first biometric passport, created for the first time entirely by Costa Ricans. The project was recognized as one of the most beautiful passports in the world and received the award for Best Use of Design at the City Nation Place Awards 2022. Over the past four years, she has worked at Joystick as an in-house creative for Heineken Costa Rica, directing and developing creative work for the region’s leading brands.
