Biography

Bastien Baumann was born in 1979 in the picturesque village of Aix-en-Provence, France, and earned a post-graduate degree in Graphic Design from ESAM University, Paris, followed by a diploma in Communication Design from the same school.

From 2002 to 2009, he worked as a Designer for Paris-based boutique studio Coandco on clients including Givenchy, Chanel, Van Cleef & Arpels, Dom Pérignon, Vacheron Constantin, Cartier, and Rolex.

In 2010, he became an Art Director at Ogilvy & Mather, Paris, guiding digital artistic direction for Louis Vuitton and Hermès, and from 2011 to 2013 served as Senior Art Director, building a design department that eventually worked with Babolat, JPMorgan, IBM, and Vittel.

Moving to New York in 2014, Bastien built a design department inside Ogilvy while serving as Creative Director on Tiffany & Co., IBM, Coca-Cola, the United Nations, and more, leading a team of over 20 designers and currently guiding brands like Samsung, Fila, IBM, Rolex, and Lincoln Center.

He now works at Le Truc as a Founding Partner and is the Chief Design Officer for Publicis Groupe.
