Biography

Chris is a creative leader who helped build 21GRAMS the same way he built his reputation: grit, passion, and a touch of chaos to keep things interesting.

After launching 21GRAMS in 2018, which, depending on who you ask, was either perfect timing or absolutely insane timing. The industry was shifting, clients were tightening, and pharma advertising still had all the personality of a warning label. Naturally, Chris looked at that and thought: this could be fun.

Under his leadership, 21GRAMS jumped from being non-existent to one of the top advertising agencies in health, known for making real work for real clients— Work that people talked to their parents about. Work that travelled more than Anthony Bourdain. Work that showed up at places like Cannes Lions, Clio Health, LIA, and D&AD—not as a one-off, but as a pattern.

Chris is widely regarded as one of the top creative directors in the industry, not for chasing awards, but for repeatedly producing ideas that break through—within real constraints, real timelines, and real business pressures.

He has a knack for seeing what something could be—and pushing until everyone else sees it too.

Because for Chris, the work matters. But the way you get there matters just as much. The pressure, the laughs, the rewrites on set, the ‘this will never get approved’ moments that somehow do.

He didn’t set out to be one of the best. He just kept refusing to make anything average.

Which, over time, tends to look like the same thing.
