Biography

Damon Stapleton is Chief Creative Officer of Droga5 ANZ. He previously founded The Monkeys Aotearoa and served as Regional Chief Creative Officer for DDB ANZ, as well as Chief Creative Officer of DDB New Zealand, where he led the agency to 20 Agency of the Year titles, including being the first New Zealand agency named Australia’s Creative Agency of the Year. Before that.he was Executive Creative Director at Saatchi & Saatchi Australia and TBWA Hunt Lascaris, the latter named South African Agency of the Decade in 2010.

He has created work for global brands including BMW, Toyota, Nissan, Heineken, Visa, Cadbury, McDonald’s and Adidas, including the FIFA World Cup campaign in South Africa. His work has earned more than 70 Cannes Lions, over 50 D&AD Pencils including 2 Black D&AD Pencils als well as 11 Gold One Show Pencils and 3 Grand Clios.

Stapleton has also written something called a blog for 10 years called damonsbrain.com, This recently became a book that actual humans bought. It's a collection of thoughts, stories and ideas he thinks about instead of world domination..
