Biography
After letting go of his childhood dream to become a palaeontologist, Donevan found his calling in advertising as a copywriter.
Over a 25-year career, he has partnered with both global and local brands to deliver work that combines creativity with proven effectiveness across digital and traditional channels. His portfolio includes Nestlé, Unilever, Reckitt, Fonterra, Domino’s, Libresse and Campbell’s.
His work has been recognised with over 190 awards and shortlists across leading global and regional shows, including Cannes Lions, Clios, D&AD, The One Show, Spikes Asia (including a Grand Prix and Malaysian Agency of the Year), ADFEST (including Independent Agency of the Year), ONE Asia Creative Awards, and MAD Stars.
Donevan has also served as a jury member for Cannes Lions, London International Awards, The One Show, New York Festivals, Spikes Asia, ONE Asia Creative Awards and MAD Stars.
Beyond his work, he mentors emerging talent through the London International Awards Creative LIAisons Programme, a role he has held since 2021.
