Born in 1973, he began his career at a major record company before moving into the global advertising industry. In 2009, he joined TBWA\HAKUHODO, where he served as Chief Creative Officer for 12 years, leading the agency to win Creative Agency of the Year for eight consecutive years.

In October 2024, he founded ECD (Earth Centric Design), a creative studio dedicated to expanding the future of the creative industry through a unique design approach that enables the sustainable growth of brands while coexisting with the health of the planet.

His work extends far beyond advertising, including product design, architecture, and public facilities. He has received over 400 creative awards both in Japan and internationally. Across multiple disciplines—film, design, music, and product—he has served as a jury member and Jury President for Cannes Lions and other major global creative awards.

He holds a Master’s degree in Global Environmental Studies and is a Professor at Keio University Graduate School, specializing in future society co-creation and innovation.
