Biography
With over two decades of experience in branding and design, Nina Granath has spent nearly 20 years at Stockholm Design Lab, shaping visual identities for some of the world's most recognised brands and helping to build the studio itself.
Educated at Berghs School of Communication, she joined SDL in 2008 and was appointed Creative Director in 2012. Since then, she has led projects across industries and continents, working at the intersection of brand strategy, visual identity, packaging and retail concepts. Her client roster includes The Nobel Prize, Polestar, IKEA, Absolut Vodka and Biennale di Venezia, alongside cultural institutions, restaurants and tech startups. Driven by curiosity, clarity and high creative standards, she transforms complex challenges into simple, distinctive ideas, and brand experiences that last.
Beyond client work, Nina has recruited and mentored talent, shaped creative teams, and held long-term responsibility for both people and performance. A multi-award-winning creative, she has won recognition in both national and international design competitions, and served as jury member in many of the same. She is a former board member of KOMM, and her work is represented in the collection of Nationalmuseum in Stockholm.
