With a career spanning over 24 years as an international executive producer in Tokyo, Yoshiki Ishii is the founder and CEO of kirameki inc. Graduating with a major in film production from the University of Houston, he returned to Tokyo to start his career at a television production company.

In October 2004, Ishii established kirameki inc, a film production company specializing in crafting TV commercials, web ads, and print ads with the world’s leading directors, DOPs, and photographers.

His extensive global network and deep ties with overseas production companies underscore his quick resourcefulness as a producer. In 2007, Ishii marked a pivotal moment by commissioning and producing a project with legendary director Joe Pytka, a first for a Japanese market. This opened the door the for more global collaborations with directors, including Thanonchai Sornsriwichai of Phenomena Bangkok and Alejandro González Iñárritu of Anonymous Content LA.

Specializing in skincare, haircare, fashion, and brand advertising, Ishii’s expertise has earned him numerous international awards such as the Spikes Asia Grand Prix and One Show Entertainment.Since 2005, he has attended the Cannes Lions every year. Taking what he has learned from Cannes back to Japan, he hosts Cannes workshops, which serves as a platform to educate the next generation of advertising professionals.
