Biography

Aaron Starkman leads Rethink globally as Chief Creative Officer and Partner.

He has led Rethink to become the most awarded agency in the world, winning Independent Network and Agency of the Year at Cannes, The One Show, Andy’s, Clio’s, LIA, and others. Rethink was also named Campaign’s Global Agency of the Year and Ad Age’s International Agency of the Year this year.

Beyond the volume of agency awards, the work itself has been recognized at the highest level. Heinz campaigns including Draw Ketchup, Tilt, and Ketchup Fraud each won multiple Gold Lions, with Heinz earning the Effectiveness Grand Prix. Coors’ Lights Out and IKEA’s U Up also won multiple Gold Lions at Cannes recently.

Aaron was named the #1 CCO in the world by Campaign and has been ranked among Ad Age’s Top 5 CCOs for three years straight.

BuzzFeed named one of Aaron’s ads the #1 commercial in the history of Cannes Lions, CNN, Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon have regularly featured Rethink’s work and Ellen DeGeneres famously called one of Aaron’s TV spots her ‘favorite of all time.’

Aaron currently serves on The One Club Board in NYC and hosts IOFA, Adweek’s Advertising Podcast of the Year.
