Ash Chagla is the Founding Partner and Chief Creative Officer of Science & Sunshine, an independent creative agency based in Dubai, the city she grew up in and continues to help creatively reimagine.

She began her career as a copywriter at agencies including Lowe, JWT, and Y&R Dubai, where she worked on some of the region’s most recognised campaigns, including Coca-Cola’s ‘Hello Happiness.’ Her work has been awarded at Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show, Clio Awards, and New York Festivals. She has also served on juries at these shows, including Film at Cannes Lions and Clio, and Radio at The One Show.

In 2016, Ash co-founded Science & Sunshine with a belief that story is everything, and that relevance, resonance, and craft matter more than ever. Since then, the agency has grown into one of the region’s most distinctive creative voices, earning global recognition and client trust. In 2023, it was named Independent Agency of the Year at the MENA Effies.

Ash continues to lead the agency’s creative vision, building work rooted in culture and driven by storytelling that lasts. If there’s an animal in the film, there’s a good chance she put it there.
