Biography
Chris Colter is the Managing Director of Media Strategy A/NZ at Accenture Song. Prior to this, he was the Chief Strategy and Product Officer of Initiative A/NZ, directly contributing to the agency's record-breaking growth and industry recognition. A staunch believer that media should be as distinctive as the content it distributes, Chris' work has been internationally recognised, winning multiple Cannes Lions, Spikes Asia, Effies and Festival of Media accolades.
At Accenture Song, Chris is a lead architect of the agency's emerging media capability, responsible for building the mediatech, planning philosophy and overall strategic product to deliver the media thinking of tomorrow, today. As a hands-on leader, Chris is also responsible for the consistent day-to-day delivery of cutting-edge media innovation backed evidence-based rigour, harnessing media creativity as a competitive advantage for his clients.
Outside of Accenture, Chris is an active industry champion for creative connections strategy, Co-Chairing the Media Federation of Australia's Conference and Awards board, an industry advisor for SXSW Sydney, lecturing at university and founding ‘StratClub’; the industry community for all media agency and publisher strategists to share unified challenges, inspiration, knowledge to further the craft of the industry.
