Biography
Guy Futcher is a strategically minded creative leader, driven by storytelling and a deep curiosity for technology, culture and how people & fans connect with ideas.
As Regional Executive Creative Director of Octagon APAC, he helps brands move beyond communications into participation with platforms, experiences and systems that fans actively choose to be part of.
For over two decades, he has built and led teams across VCCP, VMLY&R, DDB, M&C Saatchi and Leo Burnett, delivering integrated ideas for global brands that span brand building, customer experience and culture-led engagement.
Known for a leadership style that blends empathy conviction and pace with passion, he builds teams that think sharper, push further, and strive for authenticity.
Guy strongly believes that, while technology continues to reshape how we create and connect, sport remains one of the last great arenas of unpredictability. A place where emotion, stories and culture collide in real time.
Today, his focus is simple: turning partnerships into things people choose to engage with.
He has been recognised hundreds of times at all major international Award Shows, but is the first to admit that he’s still learning and always will be.
