Biography

Jenny Mak is Executive Creative Director and Partner at the trans-Tasman independent agency jnr., where she leads the creation of culturally resonant and commercially effective work. With a career spanning some of the world’s most recognised brands, including Volkswagen, Coca-Cola, Kimberly-Clark and Pizza Hut, she has built a reputation for ideas that connect deeply with audiences and deliver measurable impact.

Her work has been recognised at major international shows including Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, Spikes Asia, the Effies, AWARD, The Caples and more. In recent years, her work has ranked in the WARC Effective 100 and earned multiple Effies, alongside accolades across film, craft and work that drives positive change.

As one of the few female agency owners in Australia, Mak is committed to shaping a more progressive industry and championing creativity that transforms both businesses and the people behind them.

She is driven by the belief that creativity is a team sport - where the strongest ideas come from a culture of trust, high standards and collective ambition. Outside of advertising, she brings that same team mindset to the basketball court, where she still plays competitively.
