Biography
Mateusz (Mat) Mroszczak is the Chief Creative Officer of VML Singapore, where he leads one of the region’s most awarded multi-disciplinary creative teams. Since joining in 2020, he has helped shape VML Singapore into one of the country’s most awarded agencies, including being named Hottest Agency in Singapore in 2025.
Originally from Ghent, Belgium, Mat has spent the past 15+ years building brands and creative reputations across three continents, with roles in Brussels, New York, Antwerp, Ho Chi Minh City and Singapore. Before VML, he served as Executive Creative Director at BBDO Singapore. Earlier in his career, he worked at agencies such as Y&R, Darwin BBDO, These Days, and Happiness.
His work spans categories from FMCG to finance, automotive to aviation, with brands including Unilever, Visa, Campbell's, HSBC, and Scoot. His work has been recognized more than 300 times at major global award shows, including Golds at Cannes Lions, The One Show, New York Festivals, Clio Awards, Spikes Asia, ADFEST, London International Awards, and Eurobest.
A regular jury member at international award shows, Mat has served at New York Festivals, London International Awards, Golden Drum, ADFEST, MAD Stars, and Creative Club of Belgium, among others.
Advertising is in his blood. He is the third generation of Mroszczak AdMen, following in the footsteps of both his father and grandfather. After working around the world, he now calls Singapore home, where he lives with his wife Gloria and their two children. Still convinced he has the best job in the world, Mat believes great work starts with great culture, a strong coffee and sparkling water always within reach.
